The Alpen Bag is a quilted zipper pouch that’s easy to wear cross-body for both daily use and exciting adventures. The main zipper compartment is perfect for a wallet plus phone, while the two interior slip pockets help keep smaller items contained. The inside of the Alpen Belt Bag has completely finished edges with no bias binding or curved seams (yay!). The Alpen Belt Bag pattern is a digital download that includes full color, step-by-step graphics walking you through every step of creating your bag. The pattern includes instructions for cutting the bag pieces using a ruler (in inches) along with two printable template pieces (although instructions to make the templates are also included in case a printer is not available). Difficulty level: Intermediate. The Alpen Belt Bag pattern includes several different sewing skills including: basting, quilting, cutting with a rotary cutter and ruler, installing a zipper, making and installing binding using two different methods, working with strapping (webbing) and hardware, and creating boxy corners.
